Stanley Fishman, author of the books Tender Grass fed Meat and Tender Grass Barbecue, returns to The Appropriate Omnivore. Just in time for Labor Day, Stanley talk about how grilling your meat in the traditional way is the healthy way to go. Stanley has researched traditional grilling with various cultures and found that the meat should never be cooked directly over the heat. Stanley and Aaron also state why it’s best to serve grass fed beef at your picnic on Monday. Going with grass fed beef on Labor Day and any other Monday is a much healthier decision than going meatless for the day.
